I led a redesign of the BBC's visual style for infographics and created a style guide to improve engagement of content across the News site and social media.
After carrying out workshops to determine the visual style direction and experimenting with levels of visual complexity, the final direction was neutral enough to allow the information to lead, but playful enough to engage users.
The visual style guidelines were shared across the BBC and used as a template for other products. Shown here is a selection of infographics that were created with the new visual style.
